ExpressITech makes it easy and convenient to capture Kayak’s travel-targeted search engine traffic, through the Kayak Program.
What is Kayak?
Kayak is a travel-specific search engine that is taking the tourism industry by storm. It helps online vacation planners find the perfect car rental, flight or hotel. Kayak searches inventory from thousands of travel-specific operators like you, every day.
Getting found on Kayak means more brand exposure, more click-thrus, and more reservations for your company.
What is the Kayak Program?
ExpressITech’s Kayak Program enables your company’s rental inventory to be searched and displayed on Kayak’s Car Rental search engine. The Revolution™ Reservation System maintains the technical connection between your company’s information and Kayak, enabling the renter’s booking process.
How Does it Work?
When the renter chooses your company’s rate quote from Kayak’s search results, they link from Kayak.com to Revolution™, where the renter completes their reservation. Revolution™ also contains informative web pages with your locations, vehicles, rental policies and more to ensure high conversion from click-thru to sale. All information is administered by your company in Revolution™ Manager.

Pay-Per-Click Pricing
The Kayak Distribution Network Program uses a pay-per-click (PPC) model, to help you generate optimum profits. Each click-thru is highly qualified traffic; the renter has chosen your company above the competition. There are no reservation charges, no base monthly charges and no percentage commission fees.

Pricing Options: Standard or Private Label
The Kayak Program has two pricing options. In the Private Label Option renter’s click-thrus go directly to Revolution™ on your website. In the Standard Option renters are directed to a page with your company name and logo, on a central Revolution™ web site.

Private Label Advantages
The Private Label option sends traffic directly to Revolution™ on your website. You therefore have total control of the renter’s experience, and a higher chance of converting the click into a reservation. This option increases your site’s traffic and gathers repeat-renters, who may visit your website directly next time.
If you do not currently use Revolution™ on your website, but choose the Private Label option, you will also need to purchase a software license for Revolution™. You then have the option to use Revolution™ on your own website, at no additional charge.
How to Succeed with Kayak
It is a simple fact that some agencies do better on Kayak than others. Are you competitive? Up to date? Located at an Airport? Based in North America?

Please note that not agencies who apply for the Kayak Program are automatically accepted. Participation in the program is at the discretion of Kayak, who may select agencies based on their location and size of fleet.
How Do I Join the Kayak Program?
Kayak is one of two Pay Per Click programs available through the Revolution™ Reservation System. The other is Compare Car Rentals.com. When you sign up, both programs are visible and you can choose one or the other or both.
Applying is easy. Simply click on the Enroll button and fill in your information.
If you are a new customer, you will be introduced to Revolution™ Manager, the user interface which enables you to manage your company’s data and program options.
Once in Manager, you will be prompted to purchase a block of Kayak clicks. Don’t worry about that - we will credit your account with 25 free clicks to begin, for testing. You will also be prompted to go to Network Settings and to Enable the Kayak program and select the Standard or Private Label option.
After you have enabled the program, we send your listing information to Kayak on the first of the next month, to integrate into their search engine. This process is controlled by Kayak and usually takes 2 to 4 weeks. We will advise you when activation has taken place, so that you can purchase clicks.
Participation in the program is at the discretion of Kayak, who may select agencies based on their location and size of fleet.
