How the Renter Gets from Kayak to Booking a Reservation with Your Company
Renters begin their Kayak search by choosing their travel type: flight, hotel, car rental or cruise. They then enter their itinerary into to Kayak’s search form.
Once the search is submitted, Kayak goes to work. In a matter of seconds, it hits each travel operator’s central reservation system, including the Revolution™ Reservation System, collecting results that match the renter’s itinerary.
If your company offers inventory that matches their request, your information will be collected and displayed on Kayak’s search results page.
From here, the renter clicks on a rate of their choosing. If they select your company, the renter is forwarded through to Revolution™ to complete their reservation. Revolution™ also displays other informative web pages including vehicles, locations, maps, rental policies and more.
