The Agency View of Traffic Exchange

This program was developed in-house by ExpressITech and is powered by the same Revolution™ Reservation System that powers CRX. Your vehicle inventory on CRX and Revolution is immediately available to these new sources of online visitors, once you sign-up for Traffic Exchange.

ExpressITech has developed a network of online Network Partners, each of whom supply visitor Traffic to the Revolution reservation system. A totally new stream of visitors and potential renters will see your vehicle inventory. Based on trials to date, we expect the program to greatly increase the visitor traffic to your vehicle inventory in the Revolution reservation system.

As well, we have found through trials, that a majority of traffic from our network partners is directed to larger airports. Business travelers arriving at airports may be likely to rent higher end vehicles and vacation travelers may be a good source of longer term rentals.

How Does it Work?

Most of our Traffic Network Partners have an Itinerary Form on their web site, to gather visitor travel data: trip destination and dates and times of arrival and departure. Visitors enter their trip data and then select a car rental rate search. The Revolution reservation system presents the same rate search results that are visible at CRX, for all agencies who are participants in the Traffic Exchange program. Visitors see your rental rates and can select your agency and one of your vehicles.

At present we are actively seeking agencies with Renter Ratings of 4 stars and above, which serve these airport locations: Los Angeles - LAX, Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Orlando International Airports, and Toronto Pearson Airport.

Pricing

ExpressITech shares program booking revenue with our Traffic Exchange Network Partners. For this service the cost per reservation is effectively 13% of reservation revenue, excluding taxes and fees. The total cost is 16.25% of revenue, but we allow a 20% no show factor, to arrive at the effective rate of 13% of revenue. Reservation revenue is capped at $1,000 when determining charges.
