C2 = Comparison (Rate Alerts & Rules)
Rate Monitor’s Alert! section offers the following:
- Rate Rules - User defines specific rate criterion to which they wanted to be alerted; the system automatically reviews newly obtained rates
- Notification - The system can alert a user when it finds a rate that falls within pre-defined pricing criterion and will:
a) Alert via email
b) Alert upon user login - Simplicity -
Rules don’t have to be complex, they can be as simple as:
“make sure my rates are $2.00 less than Enterprise and Budget” or
“advise me of peak rates in July” - Sophistication
Rate Monitor can update your system according to your pre-defined rules and they can be as complex as you need them to be. Rules can be used to create logic trees. For example, “if Enterprise is closed, then set rate to Budget’s minus
$1.00, otherwise set rate to lowest of Enterprise, Advantage or Budget.” - All in one capability -
Collection and comparison are tightly integrated into Rate Monitor.
